What animals see: and why your camo stands out
Below is 3 swatches of camo blended with elements representing a natural backdrop. Left is untreated. Middle is treated by a common UV Blocking spray. The right has been treated by UV Naturalizer.
In nature, UV response is faint, uneven, and organic. This seen in materials like tree bark, moss, and decaying wood. What animals don’t see is strong, uniform blue or white fluorescence.
